I don't really ever find myself buying bad games.

Game & Wario was probably the worst but even that was okay for what it is.

PES2014 - supposedly refactored to escape the bottle necking PS2 era engine, a true PS3/360 engine... Ended up being guff. Some decent ideas, but core gameplay was just too glitchy.

I liked the Walking Dead game.

I completed it all the way through and went back for seconds! It was pretty shoddy in places but it wasn't as bad as everyone made out IMO.

Just because was so hyped for it having loved the first 2:

            Dead Space 3.

It wasn't bad, just a massive disappointment.

I can't think of a game I haven't enjoyed recently but that's because I buy so few games and so rarely take risks. I think the last game that disappointed me was New Super Mario Bros 2 from a couple of years back. That said, I may be just blocking out some more recent bad experiences and my memory is terrible at the best of times.

I don't buy terrible games, but there have been disappointments. The first that pops in my mind is Paper Mario: Sticker Star, which wasn't a bad game but I just got bored with it, so that's probably my biggest let down this year.

Edit: It came out last Christmas so then I have to choose something else... Hmm...

TMNT: Out of the Shadows. I tried the demo and it has the worst controls in a game since the Resident Evil series. I would consider it broken.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 wasn't that bad. In fact if it came with a mission editor it would have been a pretty good sniping title.

And what was it about Farming that you didn't like? I never tried it, but it's for "fans" of the genre. I enjoy train sims for instance.

X-Rebirth seems plain awful because it's not even half-finished. Glad I avoided that trap.

Has to be something that is so broken or rubbish its funny, videos of the fighter within have given me so much amusement just watching people pissing about and trying to review it or play it has been fantastic entertainment.

I think when a game is so clearly broken that even the devs must know its always fun to watch things unfold.

the eurogamer review headline from the fighter within had me in stitches

                      J**** f***ing wept.
The disgraceful thing about this Kinect brawler for Xbox One isn't how bad it is - it's that we've been here before.

Bioshock Infinite. What with all its endless rifling through bins and drawers for snacks all you can hear is the main character chomping on stuff. It's Pacman with a 'serious' message. Waka-waka-waka-waka-Wounded Knee-waka-waka-waka-waka-Columbia Exposition-waka-waka-waka-waka-Pinkerton Squad-waka-waka-waka-waka-Boxer Rebellion. ****e.

                          Knack looks like a contender.

Bwahahaha.. I find it vastly overrated, but it's a highly-polished game.

Yeah, interesting point and you're right but in terms of aesthetics and design it's as good as any game ever made, and that's assuming you didn't enjoy the narrative which I personally did. If you berate Bioshock Infinite for the gameplay you have to also question Zelda and a dozen other heralded franchises. Zelda is pretty much the same thing based around fetch and carry quests.
