Cave Story is my favourite. It could have been Dark Souls (PC) but a dead graphics card has stalled my playthrough of that.

Played through Blue Stinger over Christmas.

The guy behind it was also responsible for Illbleed. He passed away, sadly, but I would definitely classify him as an insane genius.

A Link To The Past gets my vote as I recently revisited it again (as those who frequent the Retro thread will attest). Much easier now than I remember it being but still genius in the dungeon and Hyrule/Dark World (Lorule?) design.

Still haven't cracked open my copy of A Link Between Worlds but it'll be one hell of a game if it is anywhere near as good as its famous predecessor.

Where you got it? I've the Japanese cart but the language always kept me from playing it.

I bought it from a site called Gamereproductions.com about two years ago. Not sure if they are still active mind. About a 6 week wait but worked a treat.
