I have an Xbox 360 Sub which I will not be renewing when it runs out. When I grab a PS4 I'll get PSN.

For blue/green gamers, will you pay both PSN+ and XBL Gold?

I have neither an XBox One or a PS4 and I let my 360 Gold sub lapse long ago and have a PS+ subscription by mistake so I can't really speak for the new generation or as someone massively interested in either. But for the exiting generation, Gold seemed like a bit of a scam in some areas, requiring it for services that are free by default on PSN or (worse) also have other costs attached (like Netflix - is it true you needed a Gold sub to use it on XBox or is that Sony propaganda?). I did have a blast with Halo 3 on the service.
PS+ even now when actually I was willing to let it go, feels like a bargain by comparison. Just played through Bioshock Infinite on it and have played a bunch of other games that would have paid for it many times over and there's a load I missed out on just through my own lack of interest. In terms of a game subscription service, it seems well worth it.
But I honestly don't know how each service fares in the next generation.

Paid for XBL Gold twice over the years. Had the current GT for 7+ years. Gold due to run out in September time and won't be renewing. No intention of buying the XBO and I don't play MP on the 360 anymore.
However as a day one PS4 buyer with a PS3 and Vita I signed up to PS+ last year and managed to extend until end of 2016 through some of the 15-months offers, and getting a cheap sub with the Vita purchase. So will be fine for Destiny.
Sad as I loved XBL during the last generation, but there's no point in paying for both online services.
