Weird one this but Crysis. The tech is brill, the action in Crysis 2 is great so far, the only thing missing is a story. The one they have as a base is great it's just **** the way it's told. A coherent story, with actually twist and turns you give a **** about on next gen machines would be bril.

Did you play Warhead? It's Crysis with a likeable main character and the story of the first told slightly better.

Would love either for Shadow Hearts to either be remade of continued. Interesting settings in history together with oddball characters and a dynamic battle system that allowed for effective combos to be pulled off in battle. I'd definitely be up for one of those on current-gen machines. Had Nautilus have kept on going with the franchise I'm guessing it'd be pretty amazing right now.

Perhaps not culled but Call of Duty can take a good absence for a while as the devs. look at creating other franchises/ideas that stop being yearly updates and push the innovation/immersion boundaries once more. Might be a bit rich coming from a King of Figthers but even SNK learned after KOF 2003 that you need more time if you're going to introduce substantial changes to the gameplay (even though the did well year-on-year, more development time will frequently equal a more worthy follow-up).

More a fault with the thread title as I feel we don't need any more remakes and reboots as 99% of them are rubbish. However there are a lot of forgotten games that could do with sequels.
