I don't see how what I want would come at a cost if it was implemented within say a new Metriod game. Going between planets seamlessly would add a new layer of immersion. Of course you would need to introduce certain game play elements otherwise it will just be like the boring sailing found the Wind Walker.

I don't crave realism per say, just an extra layer of immersion. I am not looking for games to start implementing a quick time event for taking a dump or anything.

I love bringing buildings down just to take out one guy in BF4.
The lighting effects of sunshine through trees is what screams next gen to me. Looks proper pretty.

Yesterday playing BF4 I realised how awesome an Operation Flashpoint type game would be on PS4. I'm not quite into the compexity of AMA3 but something between Graw and Ama would be brilliant.

In 2011 Red River looked like this on PC:

In 2014 BF4 on console looks like this (in MP!)

For me, the thought of having a platoon of 16 in a huge open world map, playing coop to take down objectives would be fantastic, and it would havefer a different FPS experience. Cloud tech could be used to keep the world persistent and/or funky AI of NPC's and you truly would finally be able to get a coop battlefield.

Bizarrely I was thinking about people going to the loo in games. I presume no one ever does in Walking Dead etc?

In DayZ you have to eat and drink, but do you have to worry about the other end? If you had to squat down in the woods it would leave you vulnerable for a couple of mins...

I would laugh every time I had the head of someone taking a turd in my sniper scope.

                        planet explorers interested me
Planet Explorers is an open world sandbox adventure RPG game set on a distant planet. The game uses a new OpenCL calculated voxel system to allow players to change the terrain in any way, create new objects such as weapons, vehicles, objects, and do it anywhere.

As at first it seemed like a 3d Starbound till looking at previews and reviews, it turns out that the game lacks any sort of imagination of its own.

Stealing bits of Minecraft and monster hunter, in equal measures, (Base Building, item/weapon crafting mining hunting is all ripped straignt out of the aforementioned games) but fails to evolve itself. When i saw that you chop down trees to make axes i began to wonder why would a space man need to chop down trees he has mastered Interstella travel??? Why didn't bring a laser cutter or any sort of futuristic tech or weaponry??

I've spent five minutes on this and come up with something that makes more sense, what if the alien life was needed for chemicals that could be broken down into resources that would make more sense than collecting Alien meat, these could be used to build new more powerfull weapons and what if mining was more about resource collection to power your spaceship, build bases ect, Imagine scanning for ore deposits to build metal fortifications so you can protect and upgrade your ship, while exploring and fighting off aggressive local wildlife makes up the meat of the game.

interstellar travel and mine craft all in one call it starcraft or something

I've always felt more comfortable writing cockpit as one word. Is that just me?

"The Cock Pit" has a nice gay bar ring to it.

Personally, I think the evolution of Animal Crossing means that making slapbets is only a few iterations away. And that it is one series you've always been able to sit on a toilet in, take that next next next gen, N64 had you beat.

Pretty much, but I think they're on about playing against AI.
