Still nothing in shenmue
or the last Guardian , all the. Rest of announcements were predictable and there really was no huge surprise from ms or sony.
Because of this the games I'm most looking forward to this year are gta 5 hd, and last of us , 2 games I have already played and loved .
It really has been another shooter fest and there are just too many zombie games.
Only nintnedo can now put some true innovation, creativity and bring a smile to all our faces .Comment

People buy new consoles for exclusives and games that were not possible in the previous generation, so far we are not getting much of either at the moment. So far I think Microsoft have the edge for the next 6 months or so, not by much though.Comment

I bought a next gen console in the hope of having a higher fidelity experience in my living room (largely realised). Innovations just happen as and when they happen and No Man's Land is an example of this i suppose, which is great. Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus are others. Nothing innovative on the Xbone horizon that I can see but as long as there are good games coming out no problemo.Comment

No Mans Sky is my game of the show so far. Exactly the type of game I asked for in the 'Next generation leap' thread.
NMS looks very nice I wont deny that however Elite Dangerous will be doing the same thing but much better by the time it comes out as well. It wouldn't make me buy a PS4 for it (as its not going be an exclusive anyway).Comment

You want more of the same, as long as it's HD, just as long as it's not just more of the same in HD.
You wanted more games, lots more games and that's what you've got. Except that they're all sequels. Or Indie games.
It's OK for some games to have sequels, but not others.
The Nintendo conference will just have more Mario and Zelda except the one new IP where you play an octopus that can carry up to 8 different tools to help solve puzzles and traverse platforms. You can co-op with a squid who can carry up to 10 tools, but he can't jump as high. That looks rubbish though, so forget it.
In summary: Hooray! There are games coming out for all consoles, some old, some new, some HD remakes, some Indie, but lots of games.
Cheer up you bunch of grumps!
