Excellent idea. I always thought Nintendo should do a take on a multiplayer shooter. I did expect 'Mario of Duty' with different power ups so this is a refreshing approach.

Loving the squid game play dynamic.

This deserves to be cemented in this thread:

The Nintendo conference will just have more Mario and Zelda except the one new IP where you play an octopus that can carry up to 8 different tools to help solve puzzles and traverse platforms. You can co-op with a squid who can carry up to 10 tools, but he can't jump as high. That looks rubbish though, so forget it.

When i first saw it last night during the demo at first it did not grab me, something i would not be interested in. But i have since re-watched it and i have to say it looks just fantastic fun, the sort of multiplayer game i may enjoy. Nice to see something original and new. Shall be keeping close eye on this one
