Finally took the plunge and bought my Vita yesterday. Can I ask how the cross save with PS4 works? I've been playing a lot of Rogue Legacy on PS4 plan on playing it on a 10hr flight next week. From what I could tell last night, you need a wifi connection to access your cross save, which of course will not be possible on a flight.

Does this mean I'll have to play from scratch on the Vita?

Before you leave, fire up Rogue Legacy on the Vita and it will pull the save down.

Sorry, another newbie question - how do you get certain games to access the cross save? Rogue Legacy just seemed to find it - I didn't change any settings etc, it just showed in the game. However, I tried to get Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate to access my PS4 save last night - I say tried, but the game didn't find it automatically and I couldn't see any way of accessing the save.

But it's a wonderful bit of kit, isn't it? Rogue Legacy works great on the Vita, and with Fez, Everybody's Golf and The Swapper to play, I should have enough for a couple of 9hr flights!

PJS you have to upload your save to the cloud to access it on Vita. Go into options and there's an option for it. Then when you fire up your Vita it will ask you to choose between local save and cloud save to continue.

                Thanks Kryss. Worked!

Everybody's Golf is amazing. It's the only game that's been in my vita for the last couple of months. Bloody hard though, especially if you want the platinum. I'm currently trying to get all crowns in challenge mode and am about 70% of the way.

I'd actually say that it's worth owning a Vita for.

PixelJunkShooter, Muramasa and Luftrausers are my top picks right now. But I did just upgrade my J-vita memory card to 16GB so will be trying out PSO2 when I can get the damn thing downloaded.

Everybody's Golf is indeed fantastic but I hit a wall in the difficulty. I'm just a bit rubbish at it and yet it looks like there is still a hefty chunk of the game left and probably courses I haven't unlocked. I must go back to it and try again.

Recently, I've been playing Proteus which is gorgeous and is free for PS+ people right now and also playing quite a bit of Zen Pinball. The new Walking Dead table is absolutely fantastic and is based on season 1 of the Telltale game. I highly recommend it. Would love to spurge on the Star Wars packs at some point.

Yes, it does get harder, I think I started struggling when I hit bronze level. Remember that when you fail 5 challenges, you can switch to easy mode by pressing square. You just wait for challenge 6-5, it's bonkers hard!

I've been meaning to give Proteus a go actually.

If I bought a vita I couldn't play the entire PSP catalogue could I? it'd all be popular playstation store ****e.

Is there anyway for me to pick a vita and get the benefits of the upgraded screen while still being able to play Colin Mcrae 05, Manhunt etc or am I stuck with my psp 3000?

There are 306 psp titles available to download on vita on the UK store. Manhunt is on there, Colin mcrae isn't though.

Yeah, loads of PSP titles available but the odd gap in there. And also lots of Vita games. Worth keeping in mind that, while the screen is great on the Vita, not all PSP games look great on it. Not sure what makes the difference but for some games the screen highlights the flaws or lower res and on some games it doesn't seem to. God of War looks great on it. Wipeout Pulse doesn't. Obviously that is totally subjective but I've found some games I'd rather play on the PSP.
