Played the first two missions of this last night, which are just unskippable tutorials about how to direct a plane through take off and how to direct one through landing.
So far I haven't found the overhead view, which allows you to see the whole airport, or the tower view. I've only been able to use the camera which is up close to the plane.
That said, you can zoom the camera a long way out and pan around. There are some nice views of Tokyo in the background. I could see both Tokyo Tower and the Sky Tree.
Otherwise, it's much as you expect - a better-looking version of the PSP and 3DS version. The attention to detail is great - even as your plane is taxiing to the runway, smaller airport vehicles will drive around in the background.
It's all in English too, which is nice. I was able to play the 3DS ones without difficulty, but now I know exactly what I am ordering the pilots to do.
