all my newer games ive played alot its the older ones which came as part of packages etc which ive not played or played very little

headhunter (ps2) - bored me to death after bout 10 mins so out it came n never been back in the console since

super bust a move (ps2) - played for bout 5 mins max

tomcat alley (megacd) - not played at all

sol feace (megacd) not played at all

cobra command (megacd) - not played at all

jeremy mcgarths motorcross (ps2) - played for bout 2 mins then decided it was one of the worse games ive played..never played it since.

cant think of any more but i bet theres tons more

I?m another one who finds is quite hard to imagine obtaining/purchasing a title and not playing it at that very instant...

The only time where there was a slight delay was when Metroid Prime popped through the post. I was so damn ecstatically excited I had to sit down with a cup of tea to calm down first. Heh. Then it was lights off, door shut? World put on hold for the next few weeks.

When I get a game, it is usually always a title I know I will like and will want to play from start to finish. Sometimes i take ricks and buy something if i see it on cheap, but if I find it is a title I won?t play until completion (such as Dead To Rights and Hitman 2 for example) On sale/trade they go?

But overall, nope, i have never been able to buy a game and then leave it unopened... just isn't comprehendible for me

Firstly:
Grrr, people like you taking up all the copies of Paper Mario, when I could be giving it some real love. You just don't know how to treat Brooklyn Plumbers.

Secondly:
Yeah, despite playing it for 30 hours, I haven't had time to play this for as long as I would like. Normally put in about 140 hours for each game, sometimes peaking at 200 hours. I suspect this will be the last Pokemon RPG I can justify getting, especially with no strategy guide - haven't got time to waste levelling up a Pokemon to lvl 100 only to find it doesn't match my playing style. I think this is the end of the road for the series for me.

Thirdly - unless you have online, don't waste your time. And hold the headphones AWAY from your head until 5 minutes into the first mission. Seems quiet, and then they jack up the volume levels. Ouch.

First of all before you shoot me all of these games were bought on impulse because they were going cheaply.... They have been played a bit but have recieved little loving from me for one reason or another

Samba de Amigo (original and 2000) with 2 sets of offical Maracas HOLD YOUR FIRE!
Reason- I love this game to pieces and when I was in Japan the arcade gobbled up my money. However having the game with unlimited continues it a bit different and you appreciate it less. Also I dont have any friends that appreiciate this game at all so my Maracas sit beneth my bed waiting for me.

I went through a Dreamcast phase and bought lots of DC games, and I only ever played about 3 of them. I sold most of them without ever playing them .

And I bought Shenmue 2 just before my DC packed in, and then when I finally got a new one I'd lost interest.

God I am terribly guilty for this....sometimes I wonder if the thrill of buying a new game is equal to the actual enjoyment I get out of it!

And given I don't like to have more then a couple of games on the go at one time my current unplayed list stretches to:

Prince of Persia (its next on my list...honest)
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (probably going to wait until after the film now...don't want anything spoiling)

Mario Kart DD (in any meaningful way...had a quick balst and some multiplayer fun but spent no real time with it)

So many games - so little time...no doubt I could have saved my money but at least I have plenty to see me through the post Xmas game drout!

I have PSO for DC and Evolution for DC, both untouched. They were a fiver each, and it seemed right to own them at least.

I also had ZOE for ages before playing it, when I did I ****ing loved it and cursed myself for not playing it, now I the ZOE universe so much. Apart from the dolores anime, that sucks.

No, I disagree. Playing a game until you no longer gain pleasure from it is all that is necessary in my book. I may enjoy a game for 30 hours, but not wish to play any more in spite of the fact that I am yet to complete the game. Focring yourself through that other 10 hours is pointless waste of time.

In that situation I'm more than happy to call it a day and finally buy a new game. Which brings me to my next point:

How can you people have so many unplayed games. Clear the back log. One of the best things I've ever done. I'm growng concerned that I have about 4/5 games comming as crimbo pressies, and I really want another, and I'm still to complete FFTA!

And 3rdnode, play Chu Chu Rocket, NOW. Brilliant puzzle mode. And if you like that, get the GBA version win THOUSANDS of puzzle levels of varying difficulty! That'll get you thinking.

there's probably at least twice that many if i went and looked, and maybe half are still sealed......thing is i intended to play all of em when i got them, not just to hoard and collect.

Makes me feel quite ashamed of myself actually, but have been slowly working my way through some other games that i never finished - trying to make up for it - even to the point of not buying new games (that i really really want) ones i know will just eat up time and knock me off the rails - like top spin, PGR2, and links 2004 on xbox live for example.

Still i know when Morrowind GOTY turns up all the good intentions above will go to rat **** and bang will go another 6 months of gaming time!!!

Ye man as soon as i get a new game i need to play it even if it's just five minutes, just to c if it works. Bought Parasite Eve 2 frm Japan only played bout 10 mins, n it's still at home why i'm at uni. O n Boktai, is still at home as well got to first boss then, suprise suprise no sun
