It is 1080(I think)/60 and the character models have some kind of soft skin technology on them that is only apparent in close up shots in cutscenes. Not art improvements because the art assets for the DLC (and this is a DLC vehicle) have to work cross gen.

Been playing the story mode in this and I'm about half way through. Absolutely absurd trash but highly enjoyable. Moves at a good pace and the cutscenes are ridiculous.

It is 1080/60 on both consoles. Some ground textures look ropey now and again, but the hRactera models really stand up to scrutiny I think. It doesn't look "next feb" but it's a fine looking game

My HRAP V4 works fine on PS4- but I always found DOA more enjoyable with a pad tbh- in this case I find the PS4 dpad quite good too.

So there's an OMG option for breast physics... Gotta get to unlocking that.

Nice to get a game that doesn't need patching immediately though.

And I agree with the above, I always play DoA on pad.

I just completed arcade and everything stopped responding... I thought on the Xbone version was buggy?

In case there's anyone with a roaming eye on the PC version, I just tried it out and to be honest... it seems to be running fine. There's a small corner of the internet exploding over the port and I've yet to thoroughly explore the release but the rumours that it's an arcade port of the game with a mix of PS3 and PS4 tweaks seems about right. There's definitely less particles flying around on bigger impacts but so far it's played fine and run very smooth. It'll be interesting to see what visual mods emerge for this as I know some early ones appeared within hours and what happens around the costumes. The two release day packs at ?40 and ?50, don't invite fair play from the community.

got to say the online lag is pretty bad for doa5 on the pc....i mean three months that is a bit to much

It irritates me they've released a poor PC port; Kotaku put it well - DOA fans will face a bit of a choice here, similar to what us Gundam fans faced when they brought out that piece-of-**** Gundam Crossfire for the launch of the PS3 - a **** game potentially being the test case for future releases.

Given, DOA doesn't seem as bad as Crossfire (which is potentially the worst PS3 game full-stop) but it's frustrating nonetheless.

It's a crackin port of Ultimate but a poor one of Last Round. Will have to see if the modding sorts it out

What is it with the japanese, you'd think they would be the ones releasing perfect ports!?

Its like they want their games to fail on PC.
