    I think that's quite debatable.

I put Captain Toad in my wiiu and played it straight away.
I went to give Drive club a bash last night and the lack of PSN scuppered that proper.
So Nintendo have it well wrong we say? Hm.

Sony definitely have that down to a fine art. I feel they perfected it in their PSP days, when you could buy a game and have to wait until you got home to update the firmware before you could actually play it.

You agreed with Nakamura that Nintendo should make games for Sony. In this scenario, with Microsoft gone, who would remain as competition for Sony then?

I agree, it's futile to talk to anyone who says with a straight face that Ubisoft is the greatest developer in the world. Obviously they have delusions.

Repeating something false doesn't make it true, no matter how many times you say it.

Read it again. That clearly isn't what I said.

Question for WiiU owners does the old style wii remote work or do you need the newer remote plus ones?

Old one works fine and dandy.

Good to hear as i'm finally taking the plunge into Nintendo next gen, going for the basic set so it doesn't come with much but i can use all the extras from my old wii have a couple of remotes and a classic controller so that should be hopefully enough with the WiiU gamepad.

The call of new Taiko games is too strong to hold out much longer plus i want to scare the crap out of myself with fatal frame.

Keep in mind that some games might require the Wii Remote to have Motion Plus, but you should be okay for the most part.

I was under the impression that if a WiiU game uses the remote it *has* to have Motion Plus.

                      Or is that wrong?

                        No.

Some games (New Super Mario Bros. U/New Super Luigi U for example) utilize the Wii Remote in a sideways fashion, like the classic NES controller. Motion Plus isn't required for that.

I don't think any Wii U games use Motion Plus. Could be wrong.

You are. Wii Sports Club requires Motion Plus on Wii Remotes.

I thought that was a Wii game!

Wii Sports Resort (which I accidentally typed) is a Wii game.

Wii Sports Club is a Wii U game and has been out for some time now.
