From what I can gather, in terms of firm dates the US has a whopping three titles lined up:

-20 Feb - Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
-05 Mar - Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars
-20 Mar - Mario Party 10

The EU however is totally owning it with a staggering 5 releases pinned:

-19 Feb - Puzzle Monkeys
-27 Feb - Teslagrad
-05 Mar - Blok Drop X: Twisted Fusion
-20 Mar - Mario Party 10
-20 Mar - Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars

It's good to see Nintendo making such a strong drive on sales to get those financial year end results up!

Nintendo has always been like that. We were complaining about the lack of games for the Nintendo 64, the GameCube, and the Wii.
On every beggining of a new generation of consoles, the third party developers say "Ok fine, we will develop something on the "ridiculous name" Nintendo console". And after some months, they say "Hey we're not selling any games on this" and we end up keeping on waiting for the new Nintendo games.

This is the Nintendo Cycle. Oh... and we wait for a decent online experience since the GameCube. Remember all the promises of online games after PSO ep.1 & 2 ? Yeah we got... PSO ep. 3 Card Battle....



The games and the hardware are great on Nintendo consoles. But only Nintendo is selling games on Nintendo consoles.
And the myriad of controllers available doesn't help knowing which one I should buy for which game on a Wii U (and I know A LOT about games, imagine the mass market...).

N64, GC and Wii had much more third party support than the Wii U it feels.

It is out in the UK too on the Nintendo shop channel. I wonder why they are doing a physical release too?

Is there likely to be a Nintendo Direct or some such soon? The WiiU is is mere days from having as many confirmed Western release dates lined up as the Wonderswan does.

I was just thinking how my Wii U has just been gathering dust.

Eurogamers best WiiU games reminded me that I have one again after the last few months and kind sparked the temptation to sell again. I won't yet as Splatoon is vaguely aimed at May and the second Mario Kart 8 dlc is aimed at the same month but I'm finding the barren release list and complete absence of any solid Starfox 3 info to bode poorly for it. It doesn't take long to tap the WiiU's well and for it to go dry.

I think unless plenty is announced or Zelda properly wows me at E3 I might get shut this summer, maybe pick one up on the super cheap once the next system is out if I miss anything. There's some cracking games on it but it's a literal handful and it spends far too much time taking up space to warrant keeping, especially if the software completely dries up.

Mine sits quietly awaiting the Mario Party 10. I wouldn't get rid of it though. I never sell consoles. There'll always be something I want to play on them at some point in the future so I think it's false economy.

And in the case of the Wii U, I'm really keen to play all of the games that are lined up.

It might only be a small handful of games, but it's a small handful that interest me a lot - more than can be said for most of what's released for the PSBone!
