Universal Orlando can't do a step wrong in my opinion. The place is awesome, so will be great to see the likes of a Mario ride etc that could compete with the likes of the hulk ride. Shame it's not really game related!Comment

Might buy a Wii U today. They have the Mario Kart 8 bundle for €300 in Argos. Or the Wind Waker one for €260 there too. Then I could get Mario Kart 8. Both come with a few free games (Mass Effect 3 with the MK bundle, Mario and Sonic Winter Olympics with the other, which my girls would love). There is also a bundle sitting right in the middle with NSMB. So what do I get? Is there a difference in these systems? As far as I can tell, they are all the premium packs so should be the same, right? Any recommendations?Comment

They're all the same really.
The wind waker pack will have the zelda markings on the gamepad (thats the one I have)

Thanks dude. In that case, the Wind Waker bundle probably makes more sense in spite of missing out on Mass Effect. Here's another question - are second controllers even available? They don't seem to be in the usual places. Can MK8 be played 2 player on the same console at all?Comment

Yeah man you can't get another touchscreen controller, you'll need the Wii u controller pro, or wiimotes that can be used with the old classic controllers. One thing they don't tell you is that you will deffo need wiimotes.Comment

The Classic Controller is my favourite pad of all time, I also use it for MK8, and anything else it's compatible with.
I'd recommend the Wind Waker bundle so that you can play it along with your girls who will be absolutely spellbound by it.
NSMBU is amazing, and my personal pick from that bunch. Thanks to the genius stage designs and layouts It's my second favourite '2D' Mario game behind SMW. Saying this I'd only recommend that bundle if you were tempted to be selfish and wanted to play it all for yourself. That's not to say it isn't lots of fun with more than one player, but it can sometimes get frustrating if one or more parties become liabilities. The challenges are filthy addictive drugs.Comment

Went for the Wind Waker bundle and got MK8. It also came with Mario and Sonic Winter Olympics, FIFA 13 (will likely never play) and Metroid Other M and some quiz game for the Wii.can we still register points? Not sure. Anyway, it's doing all the updates now. Looks like it's going to take ages.
Instant user flaw which my iPhone also suffered from - asks me register to an existing Nintendo ID if I have it (I do), then says it can't until I download an update but won't let me download an update without creating a user account. So I had to go through the Mii process pointlessly.Comment
