Right folks, legit question.

I bought Metroid Prime trilogy, but realised I don't have a sensor bar out and can't be arsed to find one. Can I use my classic controller pro? Did I hear you could use the gamepad as one? Does that mean I'd have to put the gamepad infront of the telly screen side up??

Im sure Guts will be here in a minute to explain why Nintendo removing previously advertised functionally is perfectly acceptable, but not in Sony's case.

Actually the TV button does do something - it allows you to use your gamepad as an extremely large TV remote with 3 hours battery life. I cannot understand why this hardware is flopping.

Not to worry - Pikate will soon be around to insist that the Wii U GamePad is innovative and totally ahead of its time, I'm sure.
