do we think they will decide to do us anymore tracks considering there wont be another mk on this console.. id be more than happy to continue in the same setup as they have done so far , 8 tracks, 4 new 4 retro, 3 characters, it can only be a winning money spinner and more happy MKer's

Yes, I have dreamed of this for years. Eventually the could have every track...why not? I would also like to see complete weapons customisation and the ability to make custom cups.

It'd be cool but I think this will be the last DLC for the game, I'd expect the dev team will fully move on to something else after this... probably Mario Kart 9 for NX

GameCube controller adapter happened to go back up on Amazon Canada after I woke up this afternoon. Got it in my cart and before I could think of something else to added to get free shipping it had sold out.

I suspect they won't do any more track packs - the DLC cup icons being present in the release game code suggests that two were always planned. Plus I think going beyond 48 tracks might start to get a little bloated. But, I would absolutely love a Battle Arena pack, giving us the option for Track or Arena battle modes, with four retro and four new arenas (or maybe more split over two packs?). It could crossover with Kirby, having him as a playable character complete with Warp Star vehicle and a City Trial-based arena inspired by Kirby Air Ride. Plus it could bring back some old veteran characters like Birdo, King Boo and Diddy.

Okay, I know it'll never happen, but I'd definitely pay another tenner for all that.

I strongly suspect the next Mario Kart will be more like Smash Bros in terms of the character roster. Nintendo will need something to differentiate it and I that'll certainly be a start. Plus it opens up options for Amiibo if those are still supported.

I'm sure Amiibo will still be supported since Nintendo are currently making a bajillion quid off them. In fact the next console will probably be one giant Amiibo. And the games are stored inside smaller Amiibos that you place on its head to play.

The game is controlled using button-equipped Amiibos of course. Memory cards will be reintroduced (in the form of Amiibos).

I don't know if it was discussed here already but there is great new indie game available on Wii U eshop. Affordable Space Adventures - hard to explain, but it has one of the best use of GamePad ever. Game is nice too, sort of like Limbo in the space. Level design could be better imo but in current state of Wii U download games this clearly stand out. It's especially great for local coop.

Drag the above image into a new tab. It's a 4K shot.

At this point, that's probably conventional and conservative home console hardware by Nintendo standards.

I could just about live with $25 if there was a demo but, this being Nintendo, I seriously doubt it.

Why have they not added more to the VC N64 line up?
