Exactly how I feel, and I've owned a PSP twice!

I'd like to purchase a PSP Go on the cheap and use it for its awesome homebrew capabilities - another thing that the Vita is lacking.

Me too. I'm only slightly more interested in a PSTV than I am a Vita.

Own one and love it. SO many cool games from the Vita, PSP and PS1 libraries.

Initially bought a first model Vita for Shinovi Versus and Photokano, but since the Vita TV came out it's been sitting in a drawer. The Vita TV itself doesn't see too much action, if not for the random exclusive anime-inspired game that pops out every now and then; if a game is available on other systems than the Vita, I go for the other system: I think the 3DS is more portable (clamshell design et all) and the Vita TV doesn't quite compare to "proper" home consoles.

It gave me Persona 4 on many long business trips away from home. Therefore, this is officially the best thing ever.

I voted Own one, Love it.

Granted I fail to think of much in the way of killer software, but it certainly has it's niche. That said I've accumulated a fair amount for the system and really enjoy the PSP/PS1 support on it too. I really like the hardware it feels great to use...

My last Vita is long gone now and I won't be getting another one again. The handheld itself remains so good that hopefully Nintendo isn't dismissive next time they release a new machine and take note of some of the great stuff Sony achieved with the Vita. Software wise the company has made the system a sad joke. The niche japanese releases that are still coming aside, from a western gamer point of view it only ever grows more and more staggering that the Vita is in the state that it's in and I don't at all buy that an audience love of playing 99p rubbish on phones is the main cause. Sony is squarely the number one fault with the machine and I still don't get why they every bothered making it given their dismissive attitudes to it. If you remove software that's available on PS3/PS4 and launch titles (which really shouldn't be a saving grace for a 3 year platform) it's dire and easy to understand why sales have all but ceased. With proper support though, it really could have been the greatest handheld ever for me, as it is though, it's time Sony lovingly led it out to the barn... told the PS3 and PS4 to go back into the house... grabbed its trusty double barrel and put it out to that sweet console maker in the sky

                Love hate....

                Love:

                - OLED screen is amazing!
                - Remote Play - for games that can be controlled reasonably
                - Killzone was one of the best in the series
                - LBP was missed by many, but great fun
                - Completing Tareaway with my daughter was a truly wonderful shared experience
                - PS Plus has been incredibly generous
                - I finally got to enjoy the bizarre world of Persona 4 golden!
                - PSP games look great on the bigger screen and are easier to control
                - The fact I got wipeout HD included in Wipeout 2048

                Hate
                - The GPU/CPU should at least have been as PS3 levels...
                - The controls are still crap for FPS games. It needs triggers and better sticks
                - Not enough AAA games were developed

                My Hopes....

If Sony are really going to push gaming as the #1 business segment I hope that they will consider a new console. A GPU that is at least as good as PS3, 7 hour battery and controls that work in FPS games....

                I can dream..

                    Fantastic system.

Great screen, remote and cross play, some amazing software.

                    Everybody's Golf 6
                    Sumioni
                    Dragon's Crown
                    Need for Speed Most Wanted
                    Unit 13
                    Uncharted Golden Abyss
                    Shin Kamaitachi no Yoru

Just some of the great titles in my collection.

It really is a shame that the public have ignored it, as everyone is know who has one, loves it.

Like mine very much, EDF is great but overall I prefer the PSP though due to the number of games available on it - Namco and the other collections are ace.
Still use the PSP as a sat-nav, pity the Vita didn't have navisoft.

Screen though on the Vita is great and much better one the eyes for watching doramas, using Skype etc.

Had some fun with Killzone, wanted more, didn't get it. Real shame.
