Club Nintendo closing everywhere

Managed to register enough games to get enough points to download NES Remix 2 in the end, but I've probably let over 1000 points worth of games expire by way of not registering them and leaving the codes to expire on my shelf.

Moral of the story? Games hoarding simply doesn't pay.

I had that too with the Gamecube and DS...I still mourn the lost points.
The stars website is absolutely shocking to get working. Have tried multiple times throughout the day to get something and it constantly crashes.

It's a day or so old now and I'm sure you all got the email from Nintendo but just in case it might be worth mentioning... in their latest mail about the added software titles to Club Nintendo it mentions that more physical items will be available in the coming months. So there could still be some goodies to hold those points for.

Nintendo wouldn't know how to adjust reasonable "prices" unless someone does it for them.

I can't buy anything worthwhile since it's all marked up. I'd have to spend at least a hundred (since 250 stars per game) just to get Metroid? Get the f*ck outta here with that. Exactly why I only went and bought one thing once I had enough to do so, and don't even get me started on those crappy question forms.

Not going to miss the star catalog at all.

Finally got on, 6000 points is rather high. I am 1300 points short. Doesn't look like i will be getting this. Hopefully they will put some cheaper items on
