This seems to have something akin to Witch Time, without the benefits. So a slowmo dodge? I'll have to check YT in a month to see if it is worth playing I guess, if there's some depth.Comment

Hasbro is unifying all its Transformers games, comics, tv series etc (bar the films) and Devastation has been designated as the prequel to a 3-4 year cross media storyline. Activision says it will work with Hasbro in tieing in its output. Presumably this means G1 will be more prevalent in TF output for a bit and possibly an indicator a sequel may come.Comment

There's three difficulties and some optional challenges and side missions to be found. I cranked the difficulty down just to have a light blast through and it took 3.5hrsComment

You know there's a map, right?
I was supposed to get to the tower that Megatron had raced to, but enjoyed using the map to explore the city and using the various ramps and boosts to reach bonuses and previously unexplored areas.Comment

This game is MUCH better than I had been expecting. So glad I wasn't put off by the internets claiming it's a bit shallow.
As with other Platinum games there are plenty of tips and tricks that you are left to discover for yourself such as the Parry and Counterattack system, delay combos, tyre spinning after a slam attack etc. I even found a grappling hook available to buy in the shop which helps mix up attacks

Can someone tell me if this game came with any DLC codes in the box? I want to get it for PS4, just wondering if there's any reason to get it new over pre-owned.Comment

Basically, the only DLC that was available was for 3 character skins and 3 weapons.
These came with the pre-order and was made available later.
You can no longer buy these (or the whole game) online because of licencing issues.
I suggest buying the game second hand because it's cheaper and you're not missing much, DLC-wise.
I'm also thinking of picking this up again on next-gen!
