No, they just mocked people on Twitter while advertising Asian English copies of the game.

There's a forty-six page GAF thread on it now. Forty-six pages, spun out of nothing.

The kind of people boycotting PA are the kind of people that have never shopped there, so nothing lose.

And the Neogaf outrage mob is certainly giving me a few laughs.

Indeed- I'm playing GAF thread bingo right now, as it's always the same tiresome faces that turn up and claim the moral high ground. It's interesting to see a very conservative, borderline puritanical worldview being propagated as "decent" and normal there. Maybe that flies in the US, but they should realise that their views aren't reflected everywhere.

Last order I put in with P-A took 6 weeks to arrive.

          Yeah, never again.

My Ketsui 360 LE took months to arrive. Dealing with their CS in the interim was an absolutely futile exercise.

Although an increase in followers won't directly translate into extra sales, it looks like P-A's follower count has doubled since yesterday. People suggesting that their social media person will be fired must feel like they have egg on their faces.

It certainly looks like the social media guy is taking a platform that the business has established over a decade's worth of hard work, and is using it to push their own 'anti-SJW' agenda, and now to taunt customers. I am still holding out hope this is one rogue guy rather than it being some new approach that has been cascaded from up high, but we'll see.

Their follower count might have grown but I'd wager it's the 4chan/reddit crowd coming along to watch the circus and little else. They might put in a token order for this game too, but I find it highly unlikely that these people who've never shopped with the site before are now going to be in a position to replace all their regulars that they're now pushing away.

It's just one more reason for me not to shop there in honesty. I did send them quite a lengthy email yesterday (it's here if you want a read) on the topic - still waiting to see what I get back.

Those big-boob mouse mats are funny because they're the only time a depiction of a chesty beauty doesn't make your wrist ache...

This is a bit of a stretch, I think. The number of people surprised that P-A even had an active Twitter account suggests that their social media personnel probably weren't doing too well beforehand. There was hardly a "platform" there to hijack.

I'm also surprised that this is what would stop you from shopping there. As mentioned previously, a few mocking tweets is hardly the worst thing they've ever done. Increasing prices and obstinate customer service meant that my purchases there dried up some time ago.

Forget the number of followers, it's an official channel of communication for them, plastered with their name and logo, and it's there for anyone to see or be linked to. I don't find their Facebook account linking to Breitbart particularly palatable either, but at least that's not directly antagonising customers.

There's plenty of companies with crap service and prices I still shop with when it's convenient. Play-Asia was on that list, whereas now I'll be actively avoid using them.

Don't they exist pretty unopposed, these days? Ever since the demise of Lik-Sang?

Hardly, there are many places you can buy import games.

                                Haha! Too right.

Barely bother posting stuff here (for sale) these days, nobody seems interested.
