Resident Evil VIIIage and Resident Evil 3 Remake have both passed 10m units sold. Resident Evil 4 Remake has also passed 10m units in just two years. Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil VII have now passed 15m units sold

Sarcasm aside, their a small dev team with a lot lower budget than most games of its kind.

Square will no doubt be in many meetings over the coming weeks wondering how such a small company with the fraction of the budget of a Final Fantasy game schooled them so hard.
