Jet Set Radio Future also was a like a Gen leap. It can still complete with modern Cel shaded games at all at 60 fps too

I went through RSG again recently and it really is astonishing what Treasure did with the Saturn hardware. Every aspect of the game is perfect, so it's easily one of the best games ever made. A technical tour de force that is always a pleasure to play.

Most stuff they work on is like that. Sin & Punishment 2 being a more recent example.

Its the best showcase game for a pice of hardware ever. I still remember talking to the Lee the day he got the game in stock and him telling me it what he would expect a Dreamcast shooter to look like, with all the hype of the then upcoming DC.

I remember playing Deus Ex on the 360 not so long back and although it's not beautiful, I was transfixed with how detailed the world was.

I was being tracked by a group of augmented bounty hunters, but instead of being panicked, I was milling around the office building looking at the detailed photocopiers and perusing the noticeboards.

I played it on the Wii u which is by far the ultimate version of the game thanks to the tweaks and game pad implementation and was stunned by the sheer size of the world, the details, levels of interaction, graphics, story, sound design, everything.

First immersive sim I ever played and it was mindblowingly awesome.

                  Some more

Enclave - OG XBox looked amazing too and like a PC game.

Mario Galaxy - Wii looked like it was running on a different system.

Decathlete - Saturn . It looked like a Model 2B board game and all at 704X480 @60 fps.

ESPN Track and Field PS2 - Looked better in real time than most CGI intro's.

Dead or Alive 3 - OG XBox . Made PC games look like nothing

This is literally all I can remember from that game. Cannot believe they forgot details like making bombs deadly. I stopped playing after this.

Ha ha ha, I forgot your massive rant about Deus Ex being broken because you can't kill tramps.

Maybe they didn't bug test that because they didn't expect players to ignore the story, exploring, upgrading and atmosphere to focus on being tramp exploding psychopaths?

Don't worry, RS. Sketcz gets hung up on the weirdest of things like if a game doesn't let your guy reload his bullets one at a time or exotic fruit doesn't explode in a realistic fashion.

It took him 342 hours to complete MGS 2. 344 of those were spent in the store room shooting the watermelons.

Resident Evil Remake on the Gamecube.
I remember seeing the first trailer for the first time and just being blown away by how good it looked, that this was running on the Gamecube (even people I showed the trailer to couldn't believe it). Over 15 years on, it still holds up pretty well.

And they were the best damn 344 consecutive hours of my life. MGSV on next gen? Pffft. Lock me in that storage room any day of the week.
