What type of game do you excel at?

For me, it's platformers - dunno why, just always seem to have clicked with platform games. The controls & mechanics just seem to click quite quickly & I'm away.

So, what type of games hould I not take you on at?

First Person Shooters. Since Goldeneye, this has been MY type of game. I pretty much rock at them all. And pick them up so easily. I also have the same controller setup for all of them!

Though at the minute, I must say that I am totally owning Donky Konga. Getting really good. Maybe thats my new game.

I'm pretty good at platformers, I guess...

Rhythm action games. I'm a high grade at piano, so I have good rhythm, and find that I am just naturally quite good at this kind of game. I also think I'm pretty good at RPGs.

It's always been racing games for me. I've loved racing be it cars or bikes ever since I can remember.
I was also the don at Street Fighter 2 in my area when I was younger. Soul Calibur 1 and 2 are a little harder for me as they're 3D but I'm still pretty good.

Shooters on the other hand.... I love em but am pretty pants at em.

Years of playing Elite have left me a dab hand at space shooter type game thingies. Sadly there hasn't really been one I've really enjoyed since Tie Fighter.

Other than that I would say I'm probably above average at most games - but nowhere near the upper echelon's and probably not as good as I should be given the amount of time I spend playing.

Though I do have an achilles heel. My kryptonite is Pro Evo 3. Damn that game. I love it. But I'm soooo crap at it. Its shocking.

I am rather good at Dropzone on the C64 and RidgeRacer Arcade.

Music games and I'm really good at Dead or Alive 3. Can't wait for DoA:Online to come out.

Platformers and adventures games are where I am hottest. My weakness has to be racers and fighting games, appalling at every beat 'em up apart from the Street Fighter series. How i envy those who can go into an arcade and thrash around on a driving game or totally own a beat 'em up.
