Nto exactly news but really... if you can sell GTA Online 2 seperately then you can sell GTA6 single player seperately too

If that turns out to be true, honestly, I'm really surprised. People mostly buy CoD for the multiplayer and that has no problem shifting a ton of copies every year at full price.

It's something I broadly don't mind even though I have little to no interest in GTAOnline, but it definitely raises my flag again on wishing they would just treat GTAOnline as its own thing with its own team so they can get the bulk of staff cracking on faster with other projects. Literally... my 9yr old might have his own kids by the time GTA7 comes out

I don't mind it at all. It's pretty pro-consumer. I'm just surprised that they'd leave money on the table like that. If I was them I'd honestly just force everyone who wants to play online to buy the full package, at least for the first year.

            I think that's a bit rubbish, but can't say I'm surprised.
If they're going to split, it'd be nice if they added some extra SP DLC like Ballad of GT, rather than just dump it all into online, like they did with GTA5.

Anyone else considering booking the day off to play it?

I'm curious as to how many people are actively interested in experiencing GTA Online 2 but not remotely interested in the campaign. I can imagine they exist but given the franchise is historically SP led at launch or entirely I'm interested in the figures as RDR2 suggested appeal still rested initially with the single player more so.

Ill pick the PS7 version up that runs at 60fps when i retire to check it out i guess.

No shock but additional report of the game being 30fps and maaaaaaybe using PSSR to hit 60 on Pro

                  *Doubtgif*

I'd take any performance metrics at this stage with a massive, massive pinch of salt as representative of the final release.

At this point i wouldn’t be surprised if it actually had a 60fps mode on PRO in the code but they disable it out of spite.

                        I won’t hold my breath.

This is it. The Sony SoP is tomorrow. It all aligning.

Serious question, why do Rockstar seemingly use console as their lead platform. Wouldn't it be better for them to make for PC and downscale to console? Sorry, if I am assuming so much that I have made an ass out of u and me.

People get frustrated at the delay of the PC version but I think because of the room of exploits and modding the majority of the money made is via console. Rockstar knows an optimised port 12 months later as well will see X amount of console players double dip whereas they would otherwise buy just one version on day one. Similar to how the uber-lazy next-gen port is just the PC version knocked onto console, yet will still see triple dippers - then the PS7 edition for quad-dipping. It's 100% highly intentful of Rockstar in approach.

10/10 shareholders agree with quad dipping .
