I'm more than happy this is not a Limited Run Games only release. I ordered the PS4 Japanese release from Amazon the day the digital version came out. That has the Awsome Bare Knuckle title (as does the Japanese Xbox version), OST and poster.

Streets of Rage is 100% a cooler title than Bare Knuckle, just like Robotnik is a way better name than Eggman.

If the western one was called Bare Knuckle and the Japanese one was called SUTORIITSU OBU REIJI, I reckon you’d be saying the opposite

Bare Knuckle is definitely the better name.

Streets of Rage sounds like the total by-product of the sh1t that people like Carl Macek used to do to anime in the 1970s and 1980s in the mistaken belief that they were making it more palatable for western tastes.

I thought the film Streets of Fire was an influence on both games, this and Final Fight. Had a star character called Cody (I think, with a knife and gun). Besides the names, I hated, hated western art for most games (maybe not SOR).
