Yeah, s'alright, but the controls seems a bit glacial these days, especially after following on from Batman's fast-paced thrills.
I don’t think I ever played 5. So the last I played was the one with the fictional Glastonbury (which looked nothing like the town where I grew up).

I’m glad they don’t make point n clicks with tank controls anymore. But, weirdly, I wouldn’t mind some more old school Resi! 🤣

So after my foray into Dark Souls and Dark Souls 3, I got sucked into creating another character in Elden Ring - this time an arcane build. I'm loving it but had to force myself to play some other stuff in my backlog so finished Robocop. I thought it was pretty good - got long in the tooth by the end. I did like how you were rewarded for exploring and helping out peeps and finding random missions. The shooting and gun play was good, the skilltree not so much I thought it was half baked and I hardly used a lot of it. The gun upgrade pcb thing was novel but damn they really neglected to explain how the bloody system worked. Eventually got it but jeez it was hard work. Anyway overall I enjoyed it, it definitely put me into the Robocop world.

Has got me totally in the mood for fantasy life, i swear if level 5 delay it again i'm gonna rage lol.
I had never heard of Fantasy Life before it's release last week. There's such a buzz around it. I am partial to a cozy game everty now and then. FL-i looks very interesting with all it's jobs and variation. Do you recommend?

Survival Kids has been added to the Nintendo online thing and I've been playing that. I loved Lost in Blue on the DS and this is an early version of that. It's pretty simplistic so far and I'm a bit stuck but I love the idea.

I don't ever think about making games much (and I can't really do anything besides pixel art) but playing this definitely has me imagining a better version of it, kind of the way Stardew Valley built on Harvest Moon. I'd love to see a really great pixel art Survival Kids game.

            Clair Obscure: Expedition 33
I don't yet know it well enough to get into why it's good but so far it's living up to the praise

            Final Fantasy VII: Remake
Very early on a replay and it still looks impeccable and is Square's high benchmark

Renewed PS+ and downloaded Balatro to my son's PS5.
He's stayed up until about 11:30 two nights in a row and played it all day yesterday.

It's half-term, so I hope he's over the first hit of addiction ready for when he's back at school next week.

Yeah, it's great and additive, but I feel the theming is lacking a bit. I think I like Slay the Spire more.
