      Do you really think so?

I'm not sure they are. They'll have been interested in what MS have to say but, as Jim Ryan said previously, they're looking at value rather than price.

If its more expensive the caveat is that it's the only place to play Spider-Man, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Horizon and sequels to other games that have sold millions of copies.

I don't think that the PS5 / Xbox Series battle will be as one sided as the PS4 / Xbone generation but I still see Sony coming out ahead.

Ted, that's just a way of saying 'Gird ya loins, it's gonna be expensive'

Yeah, but at least the money you spend on it gets given to the first party devs to make some AAA games!

It's a dangerous game, MS could start buying up PS5 consoles and drain away Sony's cash reserves with them sat there wondering why their attach rate is so low

                  I'm going for £350 and £450.
£100 more then the seriesS but you get exclusives like spiderman, a possibility to get yourself VR, and no compromise on resolution or SSD size.
                  £450 matches the seriesX.

                    £400 and £450 for me.

Lower than I'd originally thought - I've been thinking £450 and £500 respectively for ages - but I don't think they'll go higher than Microsoft on the top tier offering.

I think they’ll got £50 more to make a point that it’s better so you must pay more.

                        Disc Version - £429.99
                        Digi Version - £349.99

That being said, if Sony was able to bring the digi model in for £299.99 and the disc one for either £379.99 or £399.99 well... stick a fork in the battle.

I mean, what MS have done here has pleased all gamers. Sony will be forced to respond with their price, and it works in the favor for all of us. Cheeper consoles all round.
With all the bull**** EA and Activision pull, it's the first time in a long time gamers are in a good position.

Agreed. This is why I really want MS to sell plenty of machines, so we’ve got some decent competition.

Anything to stop Sony getting complacent and returning to "PS3 launch" Sony
