They don't seem to have shown us very much at all so far tbh. Bit worrying considering how close we are to launch.

It defeats the bloody object. You arrive at this horrid place, dead. Now you have a chance to character build, save certain souls to acquire rare weapons. The lore, the lack of hand holding, the dipping into the internet to find out what you need to craft a certain item. Now people will rock up as full kit w**kers.

Unless these items are just for show.

Yeah, I 100% agree. I never have the remotest interest in these premium editions where you get extra items to help you out, but that goes double for a Souls game.

Totally agree with wakka and Hudson. The feeling of starting with nothing is a major part of the Souls experience.

That really sucks. As far as I know they've contacted people letting them know whether or not they will get one for release or not.

My son has a order at shop to as well but looking a terms and conditions it’s one per household , so he might get his , but I’m out until I can just pick one up in the spring .

Thing is, you don't start with nothing, unless you go deprived. You have a hand full of items to start you off. This is just giving you some extra bits. Just don't use them or sell them. I don't see it as a big deal.

Messing with the original game's economy though. I mean, I'll probably be praying for those items to sell once I start playing, but the issue is that by selling these items is again giving you a boost that wasn't originally there.

I can see these items selling for 1 soul though. They might not actually be starting gear. Who knows. I have the non-Deluxe version on order, so I will be fine.
