Not confirming that this game works for you, but if it doesn't, it's because the developer has specifically broken it. Like it's the default behaviour for the Switch.
I have had exact same experience, bought digital first then physical later and when i put cart in the game launches the digital version, as long as both copies are from same region it should treat them the same i havent had any so far that have acted weird.

Props to him for his dedication, but he just got the same sort of reply they’d give on Twitter.

He should’ve grilled them over joycon drift. I’m sure that hasn’t been brought up in a shareholder’s meeting for a while.

NCL launch subscription service for Switch repairs in Japan.

Grifting in plain sight. Wow. Just...wow...

That is some serious bull****. Joycon repairs should be covered free for years to come considering how common the issues are.

I'm sure stuff within the warranty will still be covered.

£12 per year for insurance which also covers accidental damage. Up to six claims per year. That's actually not bad at all. If we had that here I wouldn't need to worry so much about things being dropped outside, or anywhere. As it stands the only option I'd have right now is to buy a new console.

My outrage is misplaced - Joycons continue to be repaired free outside of warranty.

Yeah, £12 per year is not bad for accidental damage cover.

Considering Nintendo have said that if you send in joycons for repair that are a discontinued colour you are not guaranteed to get the same colour pair back as they just send refurbished instead of actually repairing them and if they don’t have the colour you sent then you are gonna get a bog standard colour back. Decided if any of mine go I’m gonna just repair myself, planning on getting a few repair kits in front for when the time comes and one of my sets actually starts drifting.

Never had to send anything in so far, even when my previous switch casing started crumbling apart I didn’t want the hassle of dealing with Nintendo uk.

It’s clear they’re not making any meaningful changes to the joycons and, last I checked, they weren’t doing free out-of-warranty joycon repairs here in Japan so I’ll be signing up for this asap!

Interestingly, you have to buy one year(¥2000) if, like me, you’re currently out of warranty. You can pay monthly after that. Anyone still in warranty can start on the monthly ¥200 plan if they want.

RPG time was the highlight of the mini direct for me it's quirky in all the ways i absolutely adore. i thought that it was going to be trapped as a download only title but while i watched the longer japanese direct trailer they mentioned that there's a physical release on Oct 13th the digital version gets released earlier on august 18th.

EDIT: Ign did a more indepth preview of it, so much fun
