I also did the whole dev mode thing back when I first got the console but I haven’t booted dev mode in over a year.

    I followed this video:

Same video I followed. It's so simple it's incredible but I do wonder based on that how much of a security risk it is and whether it's get shut down etc...

I've used the dev mode before now and that was pretty straight forward but this is almost as easy as using the native Xbox store.

Wave Race 64 will be the next game to be put on the Switch Online + Expansion Pack N64 service later this week.

The Japanese version of the N64 launcher will have the 1997 "Shindou Pak Taiou" re-release of Wave Race 64 that included Rumble Pak support.

Today was the release date of RPG time, while i have the limited edition preordered i can't wait till october for the physical to be released i needed to play this now so i double dipped & got the digital to put me on and my god it's totally blown me away with it's charm. Every single inch is filled with quirky and charming hand crafted game gimmicks it's like they turned yoshi's crafted world into a RPG i absolutely love the art in this game it's been made in a way that you could totally build this in the real world. I haven't played anything quite like this it was the highlight of the nintendo direct for me, going to take this one slow and savour it.

BTW Kirby is killing me, at the end of a level when you total up the bonus fruit he stuffs his little chubby cheeks. Hnnngh too damn adorable.

How do you play the Nintendo Switch? Perpetually docked and connected to a TV like a home console, or more frequently in handheld mode as you roam the house or take potty breaks (don’t pretend you don’t)? If you’re in that latter group, the new Hori Split Pad Fit should make your handheld experience feel […]

Like the look of these new joy cons from Hori. Still superior to the standard ones but much slimmer and in a multitude of colours.

The article misses these Horicons don't have gyro (in addition to other missing features), which is a real killer for me...and they looked great!

They're like the ones that appeared around the time Daemon X Machina did - they are only supposed to be used connected to the console and have no independent power source, hence no nothing.

Don’t know why you’d release joycons without all the standard features.

The lack of wireless, in particular, is the killer.
