Yes. It's the wankest PAL conversion I've ever seen in my life. If anyone asks how **** bad PAL conversions are, this is the one to show them. Next to the Jap/US version, it may as well not exist. The speed it runs at hurts, and destroys the flow of the combat completely.

I've unlocked Super Dante too btw. 8) "Nightmare" really *IS* an actual nightmare on DMD skill setting.

What a game, i must get mine from home i'm stuck on the second scorpian on Hard after you beat Nelo Angelo where you fight it in the courtyard as i don't have any life up. Maybe im just crap i suspect so. I have nearly completed DMC2 i think but can't be arsed as it pales in comparison to the first 1. I remember how excited i was about this sequel, then i played it, it has sum nice touches like running up d wall but Dante has lost his personality.

You don't actually have to fight Phantom at that point, you can just run down the hall and go through one of the doors.

Hmmm I never realised my PAL version of this was so inferior - would it be worth chipping my PS2 to be able to play the NTSC version then? (I'm guessing a PS2 chip will allow this...)

I played the PAL version once - this brer brought it round my yard and I nearly hit him!

Not only is the game unbelievably slow - they have switched all the buttons round so even if you are used to playing the proper version and know your tings - you're still fuxx3d!

I've no idea how you lot can trounce Dante Must Die mode - I struggle badly on Hard

I was there when Vaipon finally beat DMD. The boss fights go on for ages.

I thought Hard wasn't too bad, but only after I'd bought all the skills on Normal to begin with.
