I know right, it kinda defeats the purpose though you could feasibly make a taller one with everything internal.

I quite like those more minimal dbrand fins as well.

Nice of him to take a ps5 that was given to him in good faith for face plate review and just rip it apart, nob. Also those dbrand plates actually reduce airflow in the ps5.

Yep. It's another example of people thinking they know better than Sony. The fins on the panels are designed to direct the air through the console.

I notice that there are no ****e 'fan made' Xbox SeriesX. Like, maybe join the two half's of the motherboard together and wrap it all with copper wire.

I don't think he's trying to prove he knows better than Sony... he's just trying to show what can be done in a smaller form factor. I find this one is laughable because of half the important crap hanging off the back so it's not realistic but I did really like his wooden PS5 version back at launch.

I still sit firmly in the camp of thinking this is the ugliest console of recent memory so any nip or tuck is a win for me. Those dbrand fins might not do as optimum a job as the originals but I still think they look better...
