The pro dual sense controller is going to be $199us or more specifically £209.99 here.

    Oof.

      £210

It offers even worse value than the Elite 'Core' controller, which I didn't think was possible.

Would love to know the margins on this bad boy. Can't cost them more than a few pounds to make.

PSVR1 was $399 at launch, fingers crossed it won't be more, but right now I don't feel there are any killer-apps so I'll probably wait. Especially since I can't play my PSVR1-games even though they just use the dual shock (Wipeout Omega and Rogue Squadron to name a few).

Replaceable stick moduals makes me think their using the same crap ones as the standard ps5 pad but in a disposable/removable housing these pro pads all all Emperors new clothes with the only real benefit over a standard pad being the back triggers, its not as if their built with massively more expensive components the MS pro pad uses all the same internals as well as the same crappy sticks that break all the time, sony haven't made a big deal about the components being massively better so their no doubt doing the same here.

Sony could of come out swinging and price this at the same as a Xbox elite controller but no they think "ours dose more", haptics restive triggers so ours should cost more, no doubt when Microsoft brings out their pro controller with haptics they too will stick it at £200.

Those stick modules are £20 each too! For cheap 'Stick Drift' components which cost about 30p to make.
Of course it'll review really well because reviews won't bother taking it apart and comparing it to the current one.

Another thing I've noticed is that it's still the same **** dpad! The dualsense one literally moves around in its housing. If this £210 one is the same that's terrible

These things are in no way “pro” in any way. The xbox one lasts about 5 mins before breaking or developing a fault. They are just marketing gimmicks to kids as it makes them feel better about getting kills in online games. Shrugs.

To be honest I agree. It feels more like something you’d own as a flex than anything that offers a substantial improvement.

Its like getting a razorszzzzzz glowey mouse and keyboard for online skillzzzzz on pc that flashes 9million colours, there not actually very good devices.

Vs a high end Logitech or MS combo that are actual tools.

Never understood the appeal of expensive KB&M combo's etc. My PC set up uses a programmable coloured LED backlit keyboard and mouse that combined cost about £18 off ebay and frankly it's the nicest feeling one I've tried yet. There seems to be next to nil gain for spending top dollar for peripherals

I would have assumed something would have been announced by now, so I'm guessing this rumour was BS.
It was being bounced around because it came from a 'reasonable' source.

Wouldn't surprised me if it came up through confusion between the DualShock Edge details reveal and Capcom RE showcase that takes place tomorrow
