ive been holding off as their was rumor of a physical release at some point, its a killer as id easily pay 30-40 for it on disk but don't want to put down 30-40 on it digitally

The battery life is longer...if you use it via the extra long, braided USB cable. Keep up!!!

I'm on my 3rd dualsense. The build quality, from my experience, is garbage.
My faith in Sony making a quality £200+ controller is slim to none.

The ms pro controller is hot crap as well, though the standard controller is fine. What keeps going on your DuelSense? Trigger springs?

The first one the USB port died, meaning I can't update the firmware and it doesn't work on the console anymore.
The second one I thought the battery died, so I used the first controller battery as a swap. Didn't work. Seems the circuit board has died.
My third one is currently still working.
To contrast, my dualshock 4 that I got with the PS4 at launch is still working with no problems.

Mine was starting to have really shortened battery life when I sold the console and I wasn't even using it that heavy. I reckon it was down to around 5-6hrs depending on haptics.

The elite 2 controllers on xbox are garbage as well but actually long battery life. I've zero issue with the standard series Xbox controllers.
