Had to happen really... next they'll be increasing game pass fees.

I'll assume they'll do that by the end of Q1 next year, just before a few major releases.

I've got game pass till the end of 2024 at the moment. I think I'll see if I can't make that a little longer.

The good thing about Game Pass is it almost nullifies this given you know all first party titles are included... so really this news won't hit as hard as an actual raise on the subscription service fees.

Plus it needs repeating... MS rewards helps here as well. I'm getting £18-20 a month just playing on Xbox so that's shaving off the odd major purchase here and there if needed.

I'm back up to £10 from grabbing a controller on Black Friday. They were £30 so rude not to and I've since traded it into CEX for £45.

Thanks to MS rewards and Game Pass I can't remember the last time I actually spent my own money on an xbox title.

Although there is the equivalent £2 a month I pay for Game pass I suppose

How much effort do you need to put in to get a resub of GP? I have 3 kids, mind.

3 months XBL Gold is 15,000 points, this will add to an existing GPU as 50 days. In the UK it's possible to make 23-28k a month in about 5-15 mins a day if you have an Xbox and Windows PC/laptop.

The phone points I pick up whenever is convenient throughout the day, the PC stuff I get at work as I'm logged into Edge and that just leaves the PC game (leave Forza Horizon idling whilst I put the kids tea on) and Xbox achievement at night so all in all not much and it soon becomes routine like most things
