Glad I didn't get that one added, for some reason I find that when I use the cloud gaming option it messes up my Series X's quick resume point even if I hadn't accessed the cloud via the console.

Probably already known of but I spotted today that on the MSN site when you're logged in, on the Gaming tab of the My Feed section one of the panels gives you 50pts per day for clicking it

To be fair it's a major oversight with quick resume. If you're switching between a console and cloud, or between two consoles... it just doesn't resume.

I almost think they need to have a synch option, at least for the two console setup, so that when you boot up on your second device it downloads the resume state for the select games you're playing.

On the flip, and not to **** on Xbox, but right now you can get the WD 1tb ssd card for £85.

The issue is Seagate still has an exclusivity deal... it's not really got anything to do with it being a proprietary solution.

The cards are just 2230 size nvme inside a compact flash shell. It's nothing you can't build yourself.

Hopefully that deal ends fairly soon and other parties can add some competition into the mix.

The fact that it's Proprietary means they've had to lock someone in to make it, rather than it being open market.
Exactly the same situation as ps2 memory cards. They were expensive and difficult to get hold of because only one company made them. Eventually that changed. Weird how history repeats itself.

I think it's the only mistake MS made when designing the console. As I said, it's a technical work of art otherwise.

Not sure how long it's been the case but Reward points can now be redeemed for Amazon credit. The points to £ exchange rate isn't as good as the Microsoft store rate (£150 for MS Store vs £110 Amazon as an example) but it may well better suit peoples purchasing decisions

It's a military operation for me at this point. Today was Streak Week 30 complete, streak day 237 and just clipped past 179,000 points. Determined to see what I can reach when Day 365 is hit
