There are even three Agent levels in Goldeneye with faster WR times on original hardware (and one Secret Agent) - https://rankings.the-elite.net/goldeneye - and one further Agent level on emus - https://www.speedrun.com/ge60fps

Quick brief on Atomic Heart, i don't like. I like my eurojank as much as anyone who grew up with PC's during 90's/00's but this is just to much. A serious lack of options on the XSX, no way to get a performance mode left me feeling sick at all the fast action going on, the looking/walking has this awful slight FOV zoom in when you look straight ahead, the robot jump all over the place while your FOV is tiny making 2 or 3 on ones a terrible experience. And there is no save option, just badly placed check points complete with redoing any cutscenes and tutorial moments. game deleted i just couldn't be bothered even getting past the laser eye robot (50mins in) so i have zero powers, just melee weapon and 3 ammo for a shotgun. might be better on PC but i doubt it. And the main guy is written like commie Duke Nukem.
Bad eurojank Breakdown.Last edited by Tobal; 22-02-2023, 13:48.

Bracing myself on Atomic Heart
I started it up last night but stopped after the long on rails intro bit. I like the visual style and for the sequence I've gone through so far it's a very nice looking game. Things started to feel properly awkward when it started banging on about Russian ingenuity etc and then praising and idealising China. The voice acting is atrocious and fast forwarding speech makes npcs look like they're freaking out as their animations fast forward whilst the world around them doesn't. Moving the character feels good and pretty smooth. But - I've already read that I'm soon to hit the open world area and that the game turns to utter **** at that point so the next play will likely prove pretty critical.
