Xbox Game Studios Publishing Team Visits Kojima Productions to 'Kick-Off an Exciting Journey'

"Kojima Productions' Hideo Kojima and Microsoft's GM of Xbox games marketing Aaron Greenberg via Twitter revealed the Xbox Game Studios Publishing teams have visited Kojima Productions.

"Our first visit to Kojima Productions with our Xbox Game Studios Publishing teams," said Greenberg. "Bringing engineering, cloud, marketing & production teams together to kick-off an exciting journey ahead."


It was announced in June 2022 Xbox Game Studios and Kojima Productions have partnered up to create a new video game for Xbox consoles.


"Hi everyone, this is Hideo Kojima," said Kojima in June 2022 during the announcement of the game. "Yes, there is a game I have always wanted to make. It's a completely new game, one that no one has ever experienced or seen before. I've waited very long for the day when I could finally start to create it.


"With Microsoft's cutting edge cloud technology and the change in the industry's trend, it has now become possible to challenge myself to make this never-before-seen concept. It may take some time, but I'm looking forward to teaming up with Xbox Game Studios and hope to bring you some exciting news in the future!""

Nintendo reveals new Mario Switch bundle
Nintendo has announced a new Switch bundle centered around Mario just in time for MAR10 Day.



"The package includes a system with red Joy-Con controllers, your choice of a free Mario full game download (a $59.99 value), and stickers from The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Anyone that purchases the bundle can select one of the following games: Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, or New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. Keep in mind that the Switch you’re getting here is the standard version – not the OLED model.

The new Mario Switch bundle will be available on March 10, 2023. Pricing is set at $299.99."

Shame they’re not previewing the hopefully awesome soundtrack. The quality of homebrew soundtracks on the MD these days is stunning YK has to be at the top of his game this time.

I suspect you wouldn't have been alone on that one.

I don't think many people would've known had they not been actually looking for them. Nintendo didn't exactly go out of their way to advertise this.

I STILL don't understand why Nintendo don't just make all of the special edition Joy-Con standalone across the board. They did exactly that with the Hyrule ones for Skyward Sword HD.
