I watch the latest DF podcast and it does sound like MS may have decided to begin it's own thing with the likes of CoD, but xbox games studios aren't being filled in on the direction or something. I felt a bit bad for Sarah Bond as she looked like she had been like set up to fail or something. Why turn up on that show if you didn't have answers to the hot potato questions?

Is suspect because they're in headless chicken mode. Even when things had been burning down around them for over a week a few months back they did that roundtable that did nothing to calm things. They're either really bad at managing the brand (and so need to go) or aren't really in control anymore (and so are soon to go)


All I've heard on Hellblade II is that Ninja Theory said they'd be revealing something per day on the game for a month leading up to release. We're around 24/31 days in and the coverage has been a black hole. Absolutely, resolutely, the game is going to get utterly hammered on Xbox and then get a PS5 port down the line. The main thing I'm hoping is that Ninja Theory don't get run over in the next round of axes as a result because it's all on MS.

To be serious, Is that the preorder chart? Games not out till the 21st so it won't be charting in most played or in any real way until people can play it, it's very visible on the pre-order page for new and noteworthy games coming soon has its own banner at the top of the page for me.

I cant take any more of these rope-a-dope moves from MS. They will shadow drop the world's most powerful handheld/non-handheld console next month with Sega and Nintendo acquired. With the tag line, "they are all here!"

I use a LG Ultra wide which is basically the same size as two 4:3 monitors in one but that is crazy ultra wide. I don't think I've even seen a monitor like that in real life.

Pre-orders, it's rising - now up to 177th but MS are really doing an appaling job with the games launch. It recieved more coverage when it was 2 years from release

You would think for such a massive big budget release it would be top 50, I wonder if this is a case of the game being an awards darling but not a fave game for a lot of people. I bounced off it pretty hard as it had too much insta death bits and really linear sections like the burning village bit which I just gave up after, as I wasn't invested in the world and the combat just wasn't as good or fun as other games in its genre.

Theirs the game pass issue, too why would you not just do a month of PC gamepass as for the price of this one game you can get half a year of pc gamepass.

I could be completely wrong, but I don't believe the appeal of Hellblade is that big? I look at it and wasn't really drawn to it. I played the original for a short time on Game Pass and bounced off it. That probably is an issue with me and the throwaway potential of playing a game on a subscription service though. I can't imagine Jimmy Codsportstheftauto paying much attention.
