Phil Spencer confirms that The Elder Scrolls VI is still over five years away which borderline is saying it's a next-gen title. He has also become very vague on target platforms for the game thanks to the FTC/CMA battle following it previously being confirmed that it would be PC/Xbox exclusive. It is to be made by the Starfield team so likely hasn't really entered development yet.
It should be an Xbox/PC exclusive. They own Bethesda. I don't see Zelda on the PlayStation.

They've only owned the IP for 20 years. You'd expect them to need more time.

They're making sure it's well done when everyone would happily have it Rare

If you were born in 2002, when perfect Dark is final out, you'd have no concept of what it is.
Itd be like your dad saying 'Hey, there's a sequel to a film I liked in the 1960s'

                  It’s ridiculous, isn’t it?

The only thing this new game will have in common with the old ones is the name, and maybe a character or two, and maybe the baddies. It may as well be an entirely new IP at this point. A perfectly serviceable IP built off the backbone of the console FPS that started it all has been well and truly neglected to death. Forty plus gamers like me should be their intended audience and I don’t think I’d be any less invested if it purposely shipped with 80GB of Boris Johnson porn.

The plot of the first game took place this year. If Joanna Dark isn’t going to be elderly then there’s every chance the new game could be set in the past relative to its release. They don’t have the slightest ****ing clue how to manage any of this stuff, I swear. What the actual ****.

And to top it off the game is most likely going to end up a total train wreck.

No surprise ceasing Day One releases was considered, it's a clear profit killer but the logic to taking that hit makes sense

Sad times, Rewards glitched and reset my daily tally. Thankfully will probably only cost me a handful of points, much like the UI of the system itself - always something playing up

Some updates to rewards, some good and some bad.

First one is the monthly rewards offering in the app has dropped from 2000pts to just 1000. That's a bit sucky!

The good news though is Microsoft Cashback Rewards appears to have been activated for UK now. This used to be a US only thing where buying stuff on the MS store gave you instant cashback into your account. Haven't tried it yet but received an email mentioning it was now active.
