Bethesda is supposedly looking into partnering with other studios to produce its games, a solid beat late there. They tease two unannounced Fallout games which presumably are Fallout 3: Remastered and Fallout 5, we know the latter at the least has its story mapped out but neither are hitting any time soon. Speaking of, Bethesda are also said to be looking at ways of speeding up their turnaround times.
Todd Howard had a wide-ranging interview with Kinda Funny Games today and during it he announced that Starfield Shattered Space is coming this fall, as

With COD, it's annual reveal cycle has always worked fine. Seems like a huge waste to use the time to give additional air to a title that will sell regardless rather than the stuff they're either launching as a new IP in the next 12 months or potentially hoping will maintain the message that Xbox isn't on a crash course out of the first party market. Especially given how close Xbox studios itself is getting to becoming more defined by its unreleased projects rather than its released ones. It's good for them that Bethesda and Activision are helping them cross the line now each year but with Coalition having taken 5+yrs to get Gears 6 potentially rolling up to the line, Coalition still waiting to nail down their first game in 6 years, Double Fine having gone silent since tying off their pre-Xbox era projects, Initiative also 6 years in and still Perfect Dark 3 can't even make it to trailer, Playground are also heavily slowing down with Horizon now at least 4yrs between installments and Fable IV now 7yrs deep in dev and Rare... books could be written on how much Rare hasn't put out.
Given we're slipping once again into the second half of a generation I think like Sony with PSVR2, this summers announcements might be very telling and damning. If Xbox's non-Bethesda/Acti studios can't kick things up a gear I do think that once that first party stance finally caves the next thing we'll see start to happen is some of these studios getting downsized and/or shut down. Then again, MS spending its dedicated single game show on a title that will immensely sell its largest share of units on PS5 is probably very apt at this point

He's been wrong plenty in the last few months but Jez Corden has supposedly leaked an update on Xbox's future:
Halo and Forza coming to PS5 as Xbox hardware becomes 'niche' claims leaker (msn.com)
-Microsoft are to transition Xbox into a new third party model that is based on Valve's work with Steam
-Xbox will be a store front with any future hardware being niche products specifically targeting brand fans
-Future hardware will operate akin to Steam Deck etc and allow side-loading of Steam onto them, i.e they aren't console makers anymore, just Xbox branded PC's
-Xbox will focus on driving affordable software prices with every single new release launching on other formats including Halo and Forza the like
