Purely speculative - I'm guessing that revenue increase is partly due to Minecraft but mostly because of how MS now counts earnings (mostly COD) from PS5 in the mix also
Hardware drops have softened but I'm guessing that's because they've hit such a low that there's not much room for major drops left at this point
For Content/Services - Again Minecraft and the build up to the film.
I imagine the next quarter results will look good with revenue being up but it will be misread as Game Pass bringing in the $$$ because of all the releases its seen when in reality it will be the full earnings from the film and merchandising along with the tentpole PS5 ports that will be helping them. After that the tariffs will hit hard, possibly off setting some of the earnings in the next quarter.
I'm long - long past believing the hopium that Game Pass is on the rise. If Call of Duty didn't make it the go to platform then no way at all a few weeks of South of Midnight and Avowed did.Comment

I mean - We can now brace ourselves for a dramatic increase in the cost of Game Pass because they're clearly increasing prices in a manner that shows they aren't willing to swallow losses on Xbox anymore. They... they're going to struggle at those prices for software unless everyone else matches them. However, for hardware they might as well just withdraw from the market officially - it's dead, Jim. There's zero chance that Game Pass is sustainable without also recieving a chunky increase and that will just hammer down sub numbers to breaking point.Comment

$430 for a series s, they should rename it the series T with T standing for tariff. putting prices up worldwide to try and make the rest of the world pay for trumps moronic tariffs is not going to wash in europe this is a PR disaster for them.
