Yep, it's similar to the PC GPU arena. Because cross gen bears such an impact you have a market that has an eyeball on the RTX50XX generation of cards being the horizon whilst the RTX30XX, in many cases RTX20XX aren't really being strained that hard. A lot of high priced hardware for software that is ten steps behind

I like the new design, definitely less bulky, looks elegant and gives a good impression of being smaller; but it's quite deceptive. Considering the original is lifted about half an inch on its higher base, the Slim is only about, what?...an inch shorter. And not much off across the width either along the disk section, even though the 'waist' is slimmer.

its a unoffical render not an official Sony image so take it with a pinch of salt, they used official imagery and it looks like they matched the two based on controller size and the disk drive port.

Seeing a massive push on this (billboards, TV ads, ect) we are watching Brassic on sky at the moment and cant get away form the overly CGI (not in game footage) ad.

Wont be picking it up till nearer Christmas though as my son has requested it for a Christmas present.

Haven't seen a game ship like this in a while

I've already seen it correctly stated that it's a sad day when a games company feels the need to trumpet that consumers will be recieving the product they have paid £70 for when buying physical media. Good on Insomniac though as there's clearly no requirement to have made a point of this.

The game's narrative director Jon Paquette explained whether Insomniac Games is planning a Venom spin-off after "Marvel's Spider-Man 2."

Just as Miles recieved his own spin-off, Spider-Man 2 could potentially lead to the making of Spider-Man: Venom

Spider-Man 2 has often felt like it didn't look that much better, likely because the setting is mostly the same as the last game. Video comparisons though highlight some key improvements

Only incidental detail seems to have been nipped and tucked

Can't wait to play this tonight, and it will be tonight, because i wont have to wait for a 100gig day1 patch just to make the disk a working drinks coaster. Though there is a day1 patch apparently already with some improvements.
