I want to start collecting something...

But I don't know what.

I love to sit back, and see a nice collection, and just look at it all.

I was thinking of collecting something like JAP GC Games. As I just love the boxes, and the designs. And they look lovely to look at.

I started collecting limited edition consoles. But that got a bit expensive.

Maybe something small, like all the mario games on the N64? And maybe back to the SNES and NES too.

Help me out, what do you collect? And also, what should I collect?

How about collecting every Squaresoft game? Some people take pride in owning every Treasure game. How about shoot em' ups? Every Sega game? All RPG's?

I just collect good games TBH.

Why don't you give it to charity, that way you help people who can only think about impending starvation for themselves and their families and friends AND you'll have things because you use them rather than just because you can.

A big collection won't satisfy you, I sold nearly all of my games last year and feel so much better for it now.

I don't want a massive collection. Maybe it's only a small collection. But, I just want to start collecting something.

You could be famous in fifty years time when all the warez sites have died out and no-one can find Titus the Fox on the CPC6128 or whatever...?

That or collect SNES games, that's what I'd do.

I know this might sound obvious but only collect something you have a genuine interest in. There is little point collecting something just because it is rare or expensive. I have tried collecting things in the past but have never had such a great passion to actually finish what I started. You could collect NGPC games as there is not too many games for it (although some are very expensive).

Why not try to collect all saturn games that were rated 85%+ by Official Sega Saturn Magazine. Import & Pal.

Collect wierd japanese shmups like Parodius Deluxe and Cho Aniki.

Or collect Mr. Driller games, that's what I did. All I need is the Dreamcast Mr. Driller and my collection is complete bwa ha ha ha. Try to find Mr. Driller Great its frickin hard.

Or an all encompassing Street Fighter collection should do the trick. Just don't count Hyper Street Fighter Xtreme Elimination Most Lucky #1 Best 15th Anniversary Edition as part of it.

Dynasty Warrior games are good fun to collect too. But only do PS2/PSone versions because you get the XL's in there.

Collect something that you love and enjoy , not something that you think might appreciate in value

Thats what I've done, i own very decent-brilliant puro wrestling on the PS,N64,Saturn,xbox and the dreamcast(<-best format for wrestling games), would love to get hold of a japanese Ps2 for KoC and Allstars(don't need FPWZ, D does the job just as well)
