The trick is to do it in free mission mode.

That's what I did, still bloody hard. I remember storming in, plasma torchin' those slags and clearing the bay, only for more to drop down out of nowhere

Brilliant game though... you played thru the harder levels? So mad with some decent speed in the game, very realistic requiring some skills to play well. Fave mission for me is the mines, where the chopper drops you in pre-started, along with the presidential rescue with the respawning Regal Dress. So many great moments in the game...

The controller makes this game for me. Lights turned low sub turned up. Controller gripped in 2 hands. Flicking the switches over as your mech boots up.

Unbeatable... LOC should arrive any day now. Should see some people online this weekend.

I preordered in GAME earlier this week but I'm a bit worried after hearing that. I don't know any other places still taking controller preorders.

Anyone who doesn't visit games websites on the internet or read xbox/multiformat magazines isn't even going to know about this game, are they? I mean come release day, it's not likely to be on display in your local GAME, which is a pity.

dont worry mate I've just phoned Game as I placed a pre-order about 1 wk ago and they said that the reason they have taken it off is because they have used up their first allocation and wont take anymore orders until they have rec'd more.

She said that as long as you were able to order it then you will get one. She didnt know when they were getting more in tho,

best bet is to keep checking the site or try your local stores and pre-order there.

That games planet link only gives you the LOC and the controller where as the game pre-order is for the first game as well as LOC AND the controller all for ?129.99 delivered.

If anyone here has the contorller can the give me some sizes. I have a small room and need to buy some furniture for it. I specifcally want to know the dimensions of the pedal footprint (width and length). I will also take the length of the controller if you can be bothered measuring.

Unless I missed it Im sure the Gamesplanet link is for only the controller and LOC. No 1st game is included in that deal, I could be wrong mate.

As for the 1st game being standard with the pack Im not sure. Tbh its the first time Ive read that.

Best check it out before its too late .
