Attention all ref that Maplin cable extender - do not buy!
Mine showed up this morning and the female end piece which connects to the console is too short to push in fully and get a decent connection which leads to problems with the plug losing contact with the pins or fallling out altogether - sorry!

Yep, I have League Bowling -very basic graphically but one hell of a lot of fun to play - I've not played this enough yet to give an informed opinion but I will update in a couple of days time - I have some more games on the way too, more soon................

I have some new games!!

Metal Slug - Utter greatness, a game worth all the hype for once. Load times are not noticeable and are confined to the intervals between levels. It's so nice playing this at home on a big screen - majestic!
From a format specific perspective there are some cracking art galleries and concept skecthes on the disc as well as a couple of survival and point to point modes which are all in Japanese so somewhat difficult to follow.

Windjammers - Surprisingly good - load times are practically non-existent. This game seems a lot more simple on the surface than it actually is, a few multiplayer hours will be put into this one!

Sengoku - Pretty cool side scrolling beater, a little basic by modern standards but it has a certain charm - I recently re-visited Double Dragon etc. on Mame and I prefer Sengoku tbh.

Fatal Fury 3 - Load times are surprisingly short (certainly in comparison to KOF '99), I'd not played a FF game before this. The dual layer mechanic is very interesting but I need to put some time into this as I only know one or two of the characters.

Well I'm the mug who's buying Buster's doublers and I've not long got myself the CDZ console and am also very impressed with it.

Most of the earlier games do not have too bad loading times.

Just counted the games on my list and I own 75! Much more than I thought though I haven't collected about half of them from Buster.

Due to the fact that Flying Power Disc, Metal Slug 1+2 and Pulstar are superb I've only actually played about 5 of the games!

I'll get to them soon ...

Iron clad - sealed and too scared to open it

Shocking! IronClad is supposedly the best shooter on Neo CD, how about you lend it to me, I'm not scared to open it for you!

Ironclads quite average, Pulstar and Viewpoint are much better shooters.

It's just one of those made in small number, not released on anything else so quite expensive games. :/
