Glad to see Pool Paradise receiving an eight out of ten. Great little gem of a game.

Bought it earlier in the week, word of warning though it comes on those damn BLUE PS2 DISCS.

Its fun and games just getting it to load up ft:

    Looking forward to reading what Edge have to say about;

Psyvariar 2, 7/10. Can anyone give me the general jist of what was said here?

I fail to see how anyone can't fall in love with this game. I had a couple of mates come around the other week, who play nothing but Pro Evolution 3, so I stuck Psyvariar 2 on. 3 hours later, we were still trying to pwn Earth as Buzz Type. I'd like to know what negative things they wrote about it - Psyvariar is a game for newbies and seasoned pros alike.

Then again, didnt we give the original 7/10?

I know, kinda surprised Edge went for the mark... not like them

It's 2D on a Nintendo machine... like, who did they get to review it?

But really, the mark is deserved... hopefully I will get some time in to play the Shadow and Tetra parts more over the Easter weekend than I have currently before embarking on some sort of typing...
Lie with passion and be forever damned...

Played an early version of this loads and it;s massively improved over TRD1, hopefully the Live play will hold up after the abysmal live version of TRD1. Looks promising after playing it on XBConnect.

I dunno about that man, I was absolutely rubbish at it and getting seemingly nothing back from it, and I've played hardcore shmups before! Then again that's probably more to do with how late it was though, you have to be pretty alert to play those games...

Yeah, 6am after 4 hours of Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Quake 2 doesn't do your Psyvariar 2 skills any good! :P

What do people think of Edge nowadays? i stopped buying it when i though they where going against the crowd for the sake of being different. id be willing to pick up a copy if things have changed tho.

GamesTM and IGN insider for me now

We gave Psy1 8/10. Psy2 is stuck in my DC now and won't come out. What a rush. 7/10 is still a good score from Edge for an ultra niche title like Psy2. But this is now my desert island DC disc. I can't see it ever getting old.

I'd recommend picking it up again, last months (RE4) was excellent. A real return to form for the magazine imo.

Interesting scores this month. Lots of 8's and er...3's. I agree with them all though, apart from Four Swords. Maybe...not played enough 4 player to really know unfortunately.

If your looking for a decent PC shooter get yourself a copy of Far Cry. Assuming you haven't already. Its top

Any news on what that 'next month' hazard symbol was all about? Duke Nukem Forever, or just STALKER?
