Should I sell my WE6:FE on Cube?

It was, and only ever will be a Japanese release. The fact it was released on the Cube in the first place was something of a miracle. There's absolutely no way it'll be updated/ever released again for the Gamecube. Simple as that.

My advice, keep it, not because it's 'rare' but because it's probably the best football game ever made

And people really do want it because it's a great game (and imo better than WE7 in some ways) and the only decent one on the Cube.

had it, played it loads, bought a ps2 and now have we7 international, pretty ,much the same game, maybe better, maybe worse (but i have a life) and i can read the text on we7fe so i sold it on here for ?25 if i remember, fair price, im not even bothered i could have fleeced someone for more. typical limited run collector fever if you ask me.

good game though and i do miss b button tackle or whatever it was where yoyu cpould call a defender im while you made a run.

Don't sell it, whats the point i know u don't play it but like other people have said if u don't need the money i still have WE 6, 6FE and 7 on my shelf at home i don't play them cus of International but there worth keeping imo.

I've got WE6FE on the Cube and I wouldnt sell it. Its the best football game the Cube will ever see, and I'm still playing it even though I got it when it was released. IMO its much more balanced and plays better than WE7/PES3, and the graphics are smoother and sharper than the PS2 version. Plus I can't see KCET releasing one of their footy games on Cube in the future.

IVe bought my 2nd one after selling it first time round with the panasonicQ i had!

Bought it from someone on here for ?20 and it was in mint condition!

It seriously is the best ever footy game ive ever played and would never sell it again!

I had a good long 2 vs 2 session on this today with some mates. First time I've played it for 3-4 months and it totally rocks!

You may laff at it but I spent a good couple of weeks trying to track down a good, free data file from savethecube, gamefaqs etc. - even to the point of emailing every single person who'd ever compiled a decent data file and importing a USB mem card for the job.

Alas, they were all out dated or had some shortcoming. I saw the below on eBay and went for it. ?8 is not much if you don't have the hours to dedicate to data file updating. Mony well spent and I highly recommend it: the guy has clearly slaved over this (it also comes with a nicely formatted English instructions booklet for the game which appears to be a compilation of tips etc. from various net FAQs, handy nonetheless), as it has all transfers from Jan 2004 and the stats seem accurate, with some new teams as well. It's definitely heightened the excitement of the 4 player games we have because the starting 11s are current.

Unfortunately, a week later my mate went ahead and wiped my file - though, my brother also has one and will get it off him after his exams!

Back to the topic: this could possibly end up being the only decent football game that ever came out on the Cube and rise in value after big Ns next gen console release. On the other hand, Konami might slip out WE7 (I read Sony's exclusivity license had run out in Europe, esp. since Pro Evo is hitting the Xbox). Even still, this game sounds like it's even rarer to find in Japan so who knows, it might still retain its value after a hypothetical WE7 release ...

I'd say keep on to it until you hear about a possible WE7 release; as soon as you do dump it on eBay. If there is no WE7 GC release, then WE6FE GC is gonna rise in value (and you'll make ur profit) or retain its original value at the very least in the long run anyway, so you may as well keep it regardless.
