Test whatever you use on the bottom of the console first to make sure it doesn't affect the plastic. I use these special medical adhesive remover wipes my brother got me, they work a treat on most sticky residues but can cloud transparent plastic if you're not careful.

Nail varnish remover wipes are supposed to be pretty good too, think aceton-free is more plastic friendly. You can get 'em from pound shops.

high alcohol content - Gaultier perfume or the like - (my wife complains it runs out sooo quick), or 'inhibisol' (the older graphic designer types here will know what I mean)
The sticker you refer to is a "tamper proof" - does what it says...

Jeyes fluid and a blowtorch is good for removing yak-**** stickers.

Either that or soapy water and a toothbrush.

Soak it in Nitromors overnight, that should do the trick

Wear a pair of socks for a week, take them off and throw them at the wall. If they don't stick, you'll need to put them on for another week and try again. Then try wiping the stain with these. Works every time!

isopropanol will probably do the trick
