EVE PIE is in good hands. 'Hardin', the CEO I left in charge, is doing a splendid job.

SWG PIE is coming along nicely, too. We're up to 25 members and have created our own player city, aptly named Akina.

Well just before patch day PIE INC decided to do a "show of force" operation. We basically got a group of 21 members online and did a patrol sweep through some systems.

Most of the ships were Amarr battleship class comprising Armageddons and Apocalypse with a few cruisers such as omens and mallers thrown in for good measure

Actually, PIE Inc. now comprises 83 members if you total up SWG and EVE... makes you proud to have started such a thing

I signed on with Eve. The 3 day trial got me in the mood and I've commited now. Loving it so far.

It's so relaxing and I love the slow nature of play. Superb.

Yeah thinking back it was nice while it lasted My only gripe was the crappy economy but I'd have thought that'd be sorted by now. I'm just deciding between either going back to EVE, or trying out SWG or FF 11 as I did really enjoy EVE. Decisions decisions.

The economy seems anything but fantastic in my experience so far. There are regions with obvious supply and demand areas which can be exploited... there are always people willing to buy your goods, just set up sell orders in one of the popular stations and you can sell pretty much anything(I made 100K overnight last night from sell orders I'd set up).

Also, you can usually get stuff for cheap if you know where to look and there's always bargains to be had if you set up some buy orders, someone will usually sell at a decent price.

Heh I remember the joy of sell orders, Tak used to do massive hauls with his beast(ower) of 60 jumps upwards routes. And when the game had just gone live it was relatively easy to mine the rarest ore but with the introduction of tougher pirates and when they balanced turret damages it became a near impossible solo mission...

Hey Stu... what a great corp you founded mate! I've been a member of PIE for about 6 weeks now and they're a great bunch of lads. Sadly, Snook has stepped down as CEO as he's got a lot of real life stuff going on and he can't dedicate enough time to it... the good news is that Golan Trevize has stepped into the role.

I'm steadily progressing and am nearly at a stage where I can join in PIE military ops... training up to use cruise missiles which should mean us nOObs in the frigates can get some action and help tackle the minmatar insurgents.
